  • Fitbit Inspire HR Heart Rate & Fitness Tracker monitors your activities, as well as your heart rate. This tracker sells for under $100 and has a battery that lasts up to five days without recharging, and tracks all day activity, including steps, distance, hourly activity, active minutes and calories burned. (By the way, your heart rate measures the number of times your heart contracts in one minute. The heart’s pumping capacity directly relates to its ability to deliver oxygen to the body’s organs.)
  • Fitbit Versa 2 Health & Fitness Smartwatch may be ideal for you if you love Alexa. This tracker uses Amazon Alexa  to get quick news and information, check the weather, set timers and alarms, control your smart home devices and more all through the sound of your voice. You can track steps, distance, calories burned, hourly activity, active minutes and floors climbed. The battery lasts up to six days without a recharge. About $150.
  • Garmin Vivofit Jr. 2 is made just for kids. It uses a regular battery that lasts up to a year, and monitors steps, sleep and daily activity. It allows kids to set activity goals that when completed will unlock adventures or games. Under $75.
  • Apple Watch Series 5 is for those who want to go a bit more upscale and make a serious investment in their tracker. This device monitors heart rate and heart rhythm, includes cycle tracking, includes built in workout routines, motivates you to stand and move rather than sit, and even functions as a phone. Wear your app store on your wrist! The base model is about $400.
  • Suunto 3 Fitness Sports Watch has a design that probably suits men more than women. This tracker shows your fitness level and instant heart rate and has a calorie and step counter, and a GPS. Batter life is about five days without a recharge. The device connect sto sport services like Strava, Endomondo and Training Peaks and allows you to share workouts. It has built-in sport modes for running, cycling, swimming, gym, yoga. Just under $200.
